Qantas Ground Services (QGS) is part of
the Qantas Group within Qantas Aviation
Services and was established to provide a labour hire alternative to the Qantas
Group. We employ our staff under a certified TWU Agreement
and are a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group.
QGS has been set up with a flat management
structure employing key leaders with extensive experience in
all aspects of airline ground handling and our aim is

What
do you need?
You will need to have a positive can-do
attitude, willingness to learn, reliable nature and desire
to be part of a hard-working safety conscious team. To
succeed, you will be able to bounce back when things go
wrong or change and you'll also need to get along well with
others.
We provide services for two main areas
within Ground Operations –
Baggage Handling
Working in our Baggage Handling facility,
you will ensure that our customers' luggage and freight is
scanned and, loaded and unloaded from aircraft in a
safe and timely manner. You'll need to be physically fit and
able to perform regular lifting duties of up to 30kgs.
Fleet Presentation
As part of our Fleet Presentation team,
you will jump on and off different aircraft throughout your
day ensuring all designated areas are clean and hygienic in
time for the next flight's passengers to enjoy. You'll need
to be physically fit as well as agile and flexible.
For all roles you will also need –

To be
available to work a 7 day rotating shift roster
including early morning and late nights

A valid
provisional or full Australian Drivers Licence
|
